Hubecky’s was requested to build an antique designed but functionally high-tech refrigerated kitchen. The freezer and refrigerator were constructed of quarter-sawn white oak lumber epoxied together and finished with a catalyzed varnish.

We molded the refrigeration liners out of PVC and insulated the box down to an R factor of 40. All inside drawers were plexiglass. Lights and fans were installed along with heat strips to prevent freezing of the door gaskets.
